Hi I'm Alissa.

After kids my body felt unrecognizable. I was overwhelmed and unmotivated in my own life, and stopped taking care of myself leaving me feeling overweight, unhappy and unfulfilled. As a trainer and yoga teacher I knew what to do, and I went on a mission to stop dragging myself through the day and to started restore my strength 1 workout and 1 day at a time, eating specific nutritious foods to keep my energy up and finally loose the baby weight.

Q: How does the online program work?
A: Once you have finalized your payment you will receive the program to kickstart on April 15th
All of your content for the program is ready for you. You will download all the PDF's, get access to our private FB group and instructions on how this all works. You will also be receiving emails as the program progresses with tips, guidance and links to content to further enhance your results. 
Q:  What will be required of me?
A:  During the 12 Weeks you are encouraged to workout a minimum of 3-4 times a week, follow the nutritional guidelines and implement the recipes into your family and daily life. 
Q:  Are the workouts Core, Diastasis Recti and Pelvic Floor Safe?
A:  While it is always a good idea to check with your pelvic floor physiotherapist, this program was designed for the mom in mind to help to restore core and pelvic floor function so you can get into more challenging workouts.   
Q: What if I have a rotating schedule?
A: Any fitness level & individual schedule can participate in this transformation. You can modify your program to work for your specific needs, even if you have prior injuries. Use the program to work for YOU!
Q:  I don't have a lot of weight to lose, can I still do the transformation?
A: Yes, you certainly can, you don’t have to have a lot to lose to participate in this program. This is a whole health transformation program perfect for any mom, even if you don't need to lose weight and simply want to feel healthier overall.
Q:  What are the workouts like?
A: We focus on movement quality, strength and lots of activity with little rest. The workouts are structured to be safe, challenging and progressive for all fitness and post partum levels.  
Q:  What if I have a social engagement or vacation planned during the program?
A: Life happens, we get it! Which is why you have access to workouts and flexible meal ideas plus additional guidance on how to deal with social situations. If you want a certain body type then you need to deal with how life pops ups, and just make adjustments. It's possible for you to have the body of your dreams and still enjoy life..... just follow our guidelines. 
Q:  I am really busy, how much time will this take?
A: The recipes are easy and designed with power packed ingredients you can generally get at your local grocery store. I don't spend hours in the kitchen and neither should you! If you are short on time choose an afternoon to meal prep so you are prepared for the week. As for the training, all the strength and HIIT and yoga workouts are less than 35 minutes and ultra effective at burning calories, rev'ing metabolism for up to 48 hours after you are done working out to help you build lean, sexy muscle in no time. One of my training principles is "QUALITY OVER QUANTITY." When it comes to exercise and weight loss for time crunched moms, less is more when you have a good workout plan and a solid understanding of how to eat.
What Equipment do I need?
Q:  What Equipment do I need?
A:  If you are at home, you WILL eventually need some equipment. The program can be done with minimal or no equipment at first but as you get stronger, and I know you will, and likely lighter, you will want to add more resistance to your workout, plus you will progress and achieve results faster if you have a few key pieces. These can be purchased at most big box stores, fitness stores plus a special 10% discount from www.soulfreeapparel.com for lighter equipment (bands, balls, blocks, straps, Training System)​ 
Dumbbells or kettlebells (recommend a range from 5-25lbs but this varies with each individual...don’t stress if you don’t have it all)
Powerblocks are a great tool since they include a large range of weights all in one small package. No weight rack needed ​
Stability ball /Resistance bands (I recommend 1 heavy, 1 light)
​Yoga Mat, Yoga Blocks, Yoga Straps
Q:  Is this a personalized program?
A:  No but kind of. All of the workouts include modifications and advanced options so you can make the workout work for your body and fitness level. If you need further assistance on modifications, you can check in with me on the monthly group coaching calls or purchased the customized plan available in the checkout. 
Q:  Do I have to count, track or measure my food or calories?
A:  ABSOLUTELY NOT! That kind of behavior fuels anxiety and eating disorders. We are going to teach you how to eat with mindfulness, tune into your bodies own natural hunger cues and confidently knowing exactly how to give it the right nutrients, in the right amounts at the right time. You will learn to love food and what fills you up leaving you energized and happy so you can stop falling back into old eating habits that leave you exhausted, feeling guilty and irritable.
Q:  I do not see any testimonials of pre and post weight loss pictures. Why?
A:  I do not measure you and I really find pre and post pictures missing the point. Focusing on the number on the scale and longing for the body you don't have only holds you back from nourishing the body you have right now. Yes, I want you to shed fat and look good good in your bathing suit but what I REALLY want is that by the end of this program you are running strong, feeling confident, empowered and back in control of your health. I want you feeling free from food guilt and sugar cravings. I want your metabolism boosted and you naturally reaching for foods that NOURISH you from the inside out. That kind of thing is hard to photograph. When you can confidently do all of these things, the weight will come off and you will look sexy and strong again, regardless of what the scale says.
Q:  Can I still do this program if I have a few injuries?
A:  It depends. Most of us have a few ongoing "quirks" with our body and these can usually be accommodated. However if you have a serious injury please contact me to see if a more personalized plan would suit your needs. 
Q:  I am already following a free training program, how is this different?
A: This is comprehensive training system. It provides a variety of workouts to be strong, fit, fast, limber, flexible, relaxed and injury free.  This is a sustainable whole food eating program to stop the yo-yo dieting, the self sabotage and have food freedom while still feeling your best inside and out.   There is a mindset aspect to help someone shift their habits and create a new lifestyle. I am here to coach you every step of the way so you can look and feel your best. As a fitness professional, not only did I lose 65 lbs after kids, I have taken countless number of moms through the same programs who have made incredible transformations.
