I just had a baby, is this program right for me?
Yes! but your physical training may look a little differently. Anyone who joins and is less than 6 months postpartum should choose can absolutely do the workouts, except focus on Strength training for 1-3 months to get strong and re-connected to your core before any High Intensity Training. There is modifications you can do in both the strength and yoga workouts plus the self massage and restorative videos will address areas of much needed tightness and stiffness. I created all of the programs with mamma's in mind and you will want my Core Strength For Busy Moms workout video to specifically get you reconnected to your core and so you'll be ready for more impact!
I also recommend you see a pelvic health physiotherapist if you have any questions before getting started.
I am already following a free training program, how is this different?
This is comprehensive training system. It provides a variety of workouts to be strong, fit, fast, limber, flexible, relaxed and injury free. I am here to coach you every step of the way so you can look and feel your best.
I am really busy, how much time will this take?
The recipes are easy and designed with power packed ingredients you can generally get at your local grocery store. I don't spend hours in the kitchen and neither should you! If you are short on time choose an afternoon to meal prep so you are prepared for the week. As for the training, all the strength and HIIT and yoga workouts are less than 35 minutes and ultra effective at burning calories, rev'ing metabolism for up to 48 hours after you are done working out to help you build lean, sexy muscle in no time. One of my training principles is "QUALITY OVER QUANTITY." When it comes to exercise and weight loss for time crunched moms,
less is more when you have a good workout plan and a solid understanding of how to eat.
What Equipment do I need?
All the workouts can be completed at home or in a gym if you prefer.
If you are at home, you WILL eventually need some equipment. The program can be done with minimal or no equipment at first but as you get stronger, and I know you will, you will want to add more resistance to your workout, plus you will progress and achieve results faster if you have a few key pieces. These can be purchased at most big box stores, fitness stores plus a special 10% discount from www.soulfreeapparel.com for lighter equipment (bands, balls, blocks, straps, Training System)
Dumbbells or kettlebells (recommend a range from 5-25lbs but this varies with each individual...don’t stress if you don’t have it all)
Powerblocks are a great tool since they include a large range of weights all in one small package. No weight rack needed
Stability ball
/Resistance bands (I recommend 1 heavy, 1 light)
P3 Pro or TRX Training KitYoga Mat, Yoga Blocks, Yoga Straps
Is this a personalized program?
No but kind of. All of the workouts include modifications and advanced options so you can make the workout work for your body and fitness level. If you need further assistance on modifications, you can check in with me on the monthly group coaching calls. If extensive changes are needed, you can purchase a 30 minute Virtual Personal Training Session for $45 or a 60 min session for $75.
What if I need to move my workouts to a different day?
I am so glad you asked! The workouts can and SHOULD be moved around to accommodate your schedule. You can move the workouts around each week but make sure you complete 3-4 workout videos per week including strength, HIIT and yoga.
The training plan needs to fit YOUR life in order for you to stick with it.
Will I have to cut out carbs, sugars or anything else?
OMG, absolutely NOOOOOO!!!! BUT you may find that your eating habits change throughout this program and you are less likely to grab the high calorie low nutrient foods that make us feel sick, fat and tired. I will teach you about macro nutrients though and how to balance your blood sugars with real food, and lots of it. No restrictions or eliminations (unless medically required but that is up to you) and you'll even be eating formerly forbidden foods like fats, butter, beef, bacon and eggs and feeling awesome!!!
Do I have to count, track or measure my food or calories?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! That kind of behavior fuels anxiety and eating disorders. I am going to teach you how to eat with mindfulness, tune into your bodies own natural hunger cues and confidently knowing exactly how to give it the right nutrients, in the right amounts at the right time. You will learn to love food and what fills you up leaving you energized and happy so you can stop falling back into old eating habits that leave you exhausted, feeling guilty and irritable.
I do not see any testimonials of pre and post weight loss pictures. Why?
I do not measure you and I really find pre and post pictures missing the point. Focusing on the number on the scale and longing for the body you don't have only holds you back from nourishing the body you have right now. Yes, I want you to shed fat and look good good in your bathing suit but what I REALLY want is that by the end of this program you are running strong, feeling confident, empowered and back in control of your health. I want you feeling free from food guilt and sugar cravings. I want your metabolism boosted and you naturally reaching for foods that NOURISH you from the inside out. That kind of thing is hard to photograph. When you can confidently do all of these things, the weight will come off and you will look sexy and strong again, regardless of what the scale says.
Will This Program Work For Me?
I think the bigger question is are you willing to work for you? Your success is ultimately up to you! I am providing you with the road map and tools to support you to become fit, strong, lean, fat burning machine, in which it is designed. The only thing left is your dedication and commitment to doing the work, feeding your body, mind and soul the food and movement that is needed for your success.
Q: How Quickly Will I See Results?
The 8 module program has teachings that are go at your own pace, allowing you to adopt this lifestyle so it is sustainable and long lasting. With that being said the pace at which you work will determine how quickly you get results. Some people will see results quickly others will take more time. Each person that comes to the program is unique. If you are putting in the work and following the meals, you will see progress in the first few weeks.
Can I still do this program if I have a few injuries?
It depends. Most of us have a few ongoing "quirks" with our body and these can usually be accommodated. However if you have a serious injury it may not be the best fit for you. If you're not sure, send me a message and we can chat about it.
Q: Is There A Refund Policy?
Yes, you may request a refund within 10 days of purchase should you find that the program is not a fit for you . From the time your program starts (Once welcome email is sent), you will have 10 calendar days to review the program manual, bonuses and the first few pieces of communication. If you’re not satisfied, just let me know—I’ll give you your money back! All you have to do is send me and a statement as to why the program was not a fit for you. Is there a specific start date? Can I sign up at any time?
The Be Mom Strong Program Doors Open on June 21st. You have from now until then to join the training program.
Afterwards the doors close and you will need to wait until the following session starts.
How do the payments work?
All payments are done through STRIPE. You will be billed as either a 1 time payment or following the payment plan chosen.
